Richard A. James of Durham & James P.C. has been a practicing attorney in Pennsylvania since 1976. He graduated from Juniata College in 1972 and Widener University's School of Law in 1975.

Mr. James is admitted to practice before all courts in Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. James is a former chairman of the Delaware County Bar Association's Family Law Committee. Mr. James was recognized in the Delaware County Daily Times as one of the top matrimonial lawyers in Delaware County/Chester County. He was also on the association's board of directors. Philadelphia Magazine recently selected Mr. James as a Super Lawyer in Family Law.

Richard is married to the former Beth DeVito who is a certified paralegal. The James family resides in Concord Township with their son, Andrew, who is currently a junior at University at Pittsburgh.
